Virtual Presentation: Common Loons as Environmental Sentinels

  • Rockwell Falls Public Library (map)

Common loons are charismatic symbols of wilderness in the Adirondacks, but they also serve as environmental sentinels that help us understand the health of our lakes and ecosystems. This presentation will define what it means to be an environmental sentinel and describe how the Adirondack Center for Loon Conservation puts loons at the center of their research efforts to inform humans about the health of the ecosystems we all love and rely on.

This event will streamed live.
