Kids' Program: Choosing to Protect Wildlife Starts Now!

  • Old Forge Public Library 220 Crosby Boulevard Old Forge, NY, 13420 United States (map)

Kids ages 5 - 12 are invited to join staff from the Adirondack Center for Loon Conservation at the Old Forge Public Library for a fun, hands-on and science-based activity about how lead fishing tackle harms loons and other wildlife. Kids will learn about how the choices we make individually can protect wildlife, and every child will receive a free lead-free tackle box starter kit! This program is sponsored by Maintain the Chain and is free!

A program for adult audiences will follow at 5 pm.
