Boat Impacts Study: Volunteer Training

Last summer, ACLC research interns designed a study to help ACLC gather data about boat use on Adirondack lakes and how different types of boat use and congestion levels may be affecting water clarity. With community participation in mind, the interns designed data collection methods that enable anyone to participate in helping us build a meaningful data set..

This summer, ACLC will be rolling the program out to the community. This is the first training being offered to show interested community members how to use the data collection tools and how to submit collected data to ACLC.

If you want to help collect information about boat use on your lake(s), register for this free training to learn how.
